World Archery Awards

World Archery Star Awards

WA Star awards are for achievement in shooting the Ladies WA round and Gentlemen’s WA round shot in a tournament that has World Record Status/WA Award Status. Awards are given to anyone shooting the appropriate full WA round for their gender. The badge is in the form of a stylised gold star, on its own for the 1000, and on a coloured background with gold coloured writing for the higher score levels. For archers shooting recurve bows the star is mounted on a shield, and for archers shooting compound it is mounted on a round badge.

WA Silver Star awards are for archers Under 17 – the Cadet Class, and archers of 50 or over – the Masters Class, shooting the appropriate Cadet or Masters round and show a silver Star and with silver coloured writing.

These awards can only be claimed at World Record Status events. Required scores can be found here.

World Archery Target Awards

WA Target Awards are for achievement in shooting WA rounds, namely the WA 70m round, the 50m compound round, the WA 900 round and the WA Indoor 25m and 18m rounds.

WA Silver Target Awards are for achievement in shooting at the Cadet and Masters WA 60 metre round and the half-WA round. The WA badges are the same shape and colours as the WA Target Awards but have silver coloured writing.

These awards can only be claimed at World Record Status events. Details of scores required can be found here.
