Sunday 23rd March 2014 shooting 252s.
A good turnout, despite the wind and threat of rain. We decided to scratch the scheduled Long Metric and shoot 252s instead, given that the wind would make longer distances frustrating, and that the heavens could open at any moment. As it happened the rain held off and many of us stayed on to shoot a second 252.
Club Records
As is normal with the 252, we had a number of new club records this week:
- Stuart Tongue × 2 (Gents Longbow Blue and Red 252)
- Andrew Cox × 2 − 1 (Gents Recurve Blue and Red 252)
- Michael Wright (Gents Recurve Red 252)
252 Awards
A number of us got our second scores and qualified for new 252 awards.
- Adam Golab – White and Black – Recurve (within the rules, Adam shot his first White then Black last week and qualified for both, an repeated the feat this week.)

- Bill Hails – Red – Compound
- Mick Breedon – White – Recurve
