During the year, the club organise several internal competitions for members to participate in. We hold a varied mix of events that give all club members a chance to enjoy a little competitive archery in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Burntwood Handicap was introduced in February 2017. The round shot is one of AGB’s Burntwood Rounds. These rounds are shot at 30m with the faces changing sizes during the round instead of changing distances. Salvers are awarded for both junior and senior members.

Club Outdoor Championships
Club Outdoor Championships will be held on the 2nd of July 2017
Changes in Archery GBs requirements for clout range layout in April 2017 means that we are able to use our current range on the Heath for clout shoots up to 100 yards. It was therefore decided that the club will hold a clout competition this summer with all members using club kit for a bit of added challenge.
Tag Team Frostbite
The Tag Team Frostbite began in 2015. Club members are paired off by drawing names from a hat. Archers shoot a frostbite round with there best three arrows per end counting towards the team score.

Similar to the Club Indoor Championships a Frostbite Head to Head is being planned for later in 2017.
St. Nicholas Handicap
The St Nicholas Handicap shoot was introduced in 2015. The event usually takes place during December. Members participate in a handicapped competition shooting the St Nicholas Round.
After securing a new indoor venue for the 2016/17 season, the club held our inaugural Indoor Handicap Competition.
