Selby Postal League 2017

We had a fairly decent year with our Recurve A team finishing 3rd in Division 4 with the 16th highest aggregate score. Our Recurve B team jumped up to 2nd place in division 17 after the final round of matches in September. Despite out scoring our opponents in each fixture we fell foul of the threshold handicap rule and lost matches against Castle and Leaves Green. Overall our unadjusted B team aggregate score was ranked 56th out of 125 entered teams. On this basis, we hope to be promoted into a significantly higher division next year. Hopefully, that would keep us from falling foul of the threshold handicap again. Finally, our Compound team finished 2nd in Division 8 and 33rd out of 61 teams on aggregate score.
