This afternoon archers from Royston travelled to Lemsford to take on Howard Bowmen in our third fixture of the 2017 HAA Summer League. It was a very warm afternoon with the wind in complete contrast to our previous gusty fixture in June. We competed in Senior Recurve and Compound. It turned out to be a day of mixed fortune for Royston. Despite three personal bests from our five recurve archers, we beaten by 8 points. However, our compound team faired better, and shot their best team score of the season and won the fixture by over 70 points.
