Six members from Royston Heath participated in the annual Abbey Wand Shoot on Remembrance Sunday. This is a variation on a clout where archers aim at a 5 foot high 6 inch wide ‘wand’ surround by a five foot diameter scoring zone. 1 point is award for a hit in the scoring zone and 5 points for a wand hit.
Congratulations go to Paul Williams, Jack Corps and Michael Wright who won Gold, Silver and Bronze respectively in the mens recurve category.
